Things I Bought That I Love: Porter Mug

W+P Blush Porter Ceramic Travel Mug

We're lucky enough to live within walking distance of the best cappuccinos in Vancouver—so good, in fact, they rival the ones we had in Italy. The espresso is so well balanced it doesn't need any sugar, the milk rich and frothy and not too hot. I love getting coffees to go from this place on the weekends, but I don't love the disposable cups that will spend decades in the landfill just so we can enjoy a 30-minute caffeine fix. This is where the ceramic Porter travel mug by W&P Design ($34.50) comes in.

Product Review: Maybelline Tattoo Brow Long Lasting Tint

Maybelline Tattoo Brow Long Lasting Tint

When I first read the packaging for Maybelline Tattoo Brow Long Lasting Tint after plucking it out of my #LDBeauty PR sample stash, visions of having microbladed brows without the microblading danced in my head. This paint-on, peel-off brow tint promises natural-looking results that last up to 3 days. I got very excited about being able to do my brows at night twice weekly while I was masking or watching Netflix and then being able to skip this step during mornings. What's more, these brows would stay put through exercise classes, showers, and facial cleansing. I mean, this product practically has Lazy Girl Approved written all over it! Alas, reality did not quite live up to fantasy in this case.

Drugstore Delight: Maybelline Lash Sensational Boosting Serum

Maybelline Lash Sensational Boosting Serum

A drugstore lash serum that actually works?! It sounds too good to be true, but that's exactly what Maybelline Lash Sensational Boosting Serum ($10.99 at London Drugs) is. I've been dying to write about this serum (which I received as a PR sample during last year's #LDBeauty event) for ages now, but I needed to wait the minimum 4 weeks to assess the results, and then wait a little longer to see if the serum would help my lashes survive the end-of-growth-cycle fallout.
