Some wedding decisions come after lots of agonizing, while others fall into place so easily they might as well be kismet. Choosing to buy my wedding day shoes from the Stuart Weitzman Bridal Collection was both a stroke of serendipity and a no-brainer. It had just occurred to me that I needed to shop for the shoes before I could get my dress altered when, lo and behold, there was the press release in my inbox with the most perfect collection of bridal shoes I'd ever seen—something for every type of wedding, dress, and bride imaginable.
The Bridal Collection takes some of Stuart Weitzman's best-loved designs and offers them in three fabrications—white satin, argento noir, and platinum gold noir. The styles feature minimalist strappy sandals (from a walkable 2.75" to a 4.5" stiletto), classic pumps, platform heels, and wedges. My favourite is the NEARLYNUDE block heel sandal in gold, as it looks like it'll give me a nice height boost on my wedding day without sinking into the grass during the garden ceremony.
At $525, the price is relatively more reasonable than other luxe labels I was considering. What's more, the designs are more streamlined than sparkle overload, ensuring they're wearable and versatile long after the big day.
