Has springing forward an hour got your energy level down? At least your skin doesn't have to show it thanks to Estee Lauder Nutritious Rosy Prism Radiant Essence ($88). This lightweight, fruity-scented, quick-absorbing serum promises to boost radiance and rosiness. The formula (which feels like the lightest of rose-coloured gels) blends pomegranate and pink peony extracts with antioxidants is supposed to revive dull, tired, sallow skin.
Although it's billed as a day-or-night serum, I find Estee Lauder Nutritious Rosy Prism Radiant Essence is too light to really be effective as a night serum. While testing, I never woke up with the same hydrated fresh look that Estee Lauder's star serum, Advanced Night Repair, gave me. But it does lend a lackluster complexion some pep on early mornings when worn over toner and under sunscreen, eliminating superficial signs of dehydration and dullness. It's just the boost I need the day after I haven't exactly made the best food choices, I said yes to one too many glasses of wine, or I was too busy binge-watching Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt to clock a full 8 hours of sleep.
I such a fan of serums and may have to try this one out. I love the packaging and think it's so fun and fitting for spring.
ReplyDeleteI love that you love Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt too- I had to cut myself off after 9 episodes!
xx
Fun fact: The Nutritious line actually originally launched in the Asian market, and red is a colour associated with prosperity and vitality in Chinese culture. :) But yeah, it does look very spring-like with the tulip, doesn't it?
DeleteAs for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, you have a lot more willpower than I do. I've already finished them all.
