Doing my nails is my relaxation ritual of choice, namely because waiting for them to dry forces me to sit still and do nothing for once. But sometimes a girl just needs to shed a chipped mani and re-paint her nails as quickly as possible, and for that, Cover Girl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss fits the bill very nicely indeed. I recently dipped into my sample stash by trying 'Ever Reddy' (a very pretty tomato red) and sharing a photo of the results on Instagram. I was so impressed I started moving on to other colours.
There are so many reasons to love this nail polish. The 3-in-1 formula combines base, colour, and top coats and delivers high shine. You get full coverage from creamy, shimmery, or metallic shades in just one thin, quick-drying coat. At drugstore prices and with 45+ shades to choose from, you can't go wrong.
The only downside with the Cover Girl polish is it tends to chip and scratch off after 1-2 days. (By contrast, a multi-step mani will last 5 days chip-free if I apply a gel effect top coat.) But so what? The Cover Girl nail polishes are so easy to apply and so easy to remove, it's no chore to change my nail colour every 2-3 days.
My tip for the Cover Girl nail polishes: Stock up on classic and versatile shades like reds, neutrals for your next on-the-fly nail polish change (hello, zero time after work and heading straight to dinner).

5 days chip free is pretty good. and the color looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe CG nail polishes actually don't last that long on me (1-2 days or so), but they're so easy to re-apply I don't mind at all.
