Latest Outfit: The Blues

A mix of blue pieces for spring: tweed moto jacket, heart intarsia sweater, cuffed jeans
J. Crew sweater and flats | Gap tweed moto jacket | Banana Republic jeans | Chanel bag | KOMONO 'Bonnie' shades (c/o) | Nails: Dior Vernis 'Porcelaine'

Ah, these tricky early days of spring! I'm so eager to dry clean and put away the winter coats, but so wary of being caught in unexpectedly chilly temperatures. The solution seems to be light layers and lots of them. On an admittedly warmer than average day, I wore a lightweight wool sweater over a heat-retaining cami and topped it off with a cotton moto jacket. The cuffed jeans—and the sliver of ankle they revealed—were a nod to warmer days ahead without making me too cold.

In other news, WE BOOKED BOSTON! The boy and I have been discussing a trip there the last couple months, but now that we've booked our flight and hotel for late May, it feels so much more exciting because it's happening for real. Researching things to do will be half the fun in the next few weeks. If you've ever been to Boston or New England, I'd love to hear your recommendations.

Happy Monday, and don't forget to enter my Revlon by Marchesa giveaway!

  1. This is such a cute outfit! I love how all the blues work together and then you have that pop of pink in your shoes.

I was born/raised in Boston, but haven't been there in a few years. I think the Pilgrim Plantation is worth checking out. You can see how people lived in the 17 century ~ http://www.plimoth.org/
