Two weeks ago, one of my favourite Main St. stores, Two of Hearts Boutique (3728 Main Street), invited a small group of loyal customers, well wishers, friends and family to their fall/winter 2011 show. Owners and designers Jenny Yen and Tabitha Savoie showed pieces from their major house lines Cici, Togs and Savvie using volunteer models chosen from their customer base.
As always, Two of Hearts fans can expect clothes that strike just the right casual chic note for Vancouver. Think tunics, leggings, dresses and knitwear in jewel tones and neutrals. Details in the form of screen-print motifs, nautical-inspired stripes, argyle trim and houndstooth added plenty of visual interest to the designs. Check out their website to shop the collection online or their Facebook page to see show photos and videos. In the meantime, here are a few photos I took around the store. The locally made accessories would make great Christmas gifts, don't you think?
That knotty bracelet looks really lovely.
