I had a great time catching up with familiar faces and snapping some party pics. The collage below, clockwise from the left:
- Stylish party-goers Paulo Vallejo and Miranda Sam
- A sampling of Noir's in-house brand of dramatic false lashes
- Joyce looking radiant
- The decor motif was elegant black-and-white, including these neat metal cutout faux chandeliers and a patterned curtain and walls.
- The front desk became a bar serving rosé and appies.
- Models from JK Models sported a full set of extensions, the $35 half set of extensions (aka "Le Fling"), and rhinestone-bedecked false lashes.

lovely outfit
ReplyDeleteI'm so crazy about lace tights right now - love it!
ReplyDeletedid you try the lash extensions yourself yet? would love to see a before and after shot if you do them.
Jenn, it's Sephora Rouge in Hot Tango. The red isn't a true red, it's more like hot pink and red mixed together so it's quite bright.
ReplyDeleteLiv, I haven't tried lash extensions yet! I have a weird phobia about anything to do with eyes. Up until several years ago I was afraid of touching my eye and never wore contacts. But from what I've seen of Noir's handiwork the results are pretty impressive.
You really work the tights-layering well! I'm a bit nervous about trying colored tights - any suggestions on what color I should try first?
ReplyDeleteElisse, thanks for the compliment! I bought teal tights because they provided a bright contrast in all-black outfits. For a subtler effect, I prefer my dark plum herringbone pattern tights. So, I guess it's really just a matter of what you want your look to be!
ReplyDeletei love how you layered the tights.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, the tights layering is so cool! Joyce looks gorgeous as well too.
