Last Wednesday I had the privilege of attending the Noir Lash Lounge grand opening party at their new South Granville location. Noir's owner, Joyce Cajucom, was present and looking beautiful in a blue dress and some of the in-house brand's feathery lashes. It's been a big year for Joyce: Aside from celebrating the success of her lash extension business, her new location has been featured in Loulou magazine and she's getting married this week! Best wishes to this inspiring entrepreneur and all-around sweetheart.

I had a great time catching up with familiar faces and snapping some party pics. The collage below, clockwise from the left:

• The decor motif was elegant black-and-white, including these neat metal cutout faux chandeliers and a patterned curtain and walls.

• Models from JK Models sported a full set of extensions, the $35 half set of extensions (aka "Le Fling"), and rhinestone-bedecked false lashes.
