What do you wear after a relaxing Saturday morning yoga class to face a day of running errands, cooking, and going to Shutter Island with the boyfriend? Why, something as stretchy and comfortable as the feeling you left yoga class with, of course. The nude/blush tone trend this spring has me craving light colours and minimalist outfits. I really liked the sheer effect of this sweater tunic over the white cami and gray leggings; it felt risqué without exposing anything.
- Sweater tunic (H&M)
- Cami (Zara)
- Leggings (Mavi)
- Boots (Miz Mooz via LF Boutique, NYC)
- Acorn necklace (Filou Designs)
Love the outfit! Minimalism is so classy, it just makes the wearer look effortlessly calm. :)
ReplyDeleteHow was Shutter Island? I've heard mixed reviews...

Romany, I really enjoyed Shutter Island! Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio did a great job. It's a very suspenseful and creepy thriller with some haunting, vivid visuals.
ReplyDeleteOh I'm so glad! I've heard all kinds of "Scorsese is losing his touch", and I was so upset because I think he's brilliant. But very glad to hear that you liked it, I'll definitely go check it out then! :)

The perfect weekend outfit! I think looking comfortable but still chic is key. I'm dying to see Shutter Island as well!
ReplyDeleteYou look sooo great. I love the muted colors- it makes me think of ballet dancers for some reason. Your skin is PERFECT by the way. Lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteMy lazy Saturday outfit is new favorite boyfriend style jeans, flat ankle boots, and a thin cropped sweater. So very comfortable.
I agree with 100%.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing more comfortable than a pair of leggings, a long jumper, and some matching booties! great outfit!
You look like a dancer! So elegant!

Wow, the neutrals in this outfit are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI like to wear huge knit sweaters with skinny jeans on lazy days.
i love tunics like that. they are so comfy.
ReplyDeleteLove it and love yoga!
ReplyDeleteYou look so clean, not only with the minimalist outfit, but also with the soft pink tunic. (Not a color that I can wear myself, but it looks fabulous on you.)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Shutter Island way more than I thought I would - it was more of a character study and less of a predictable thriller than I thought it would be.
Shoot-- I'm sorry for all the deleted posts :$ made a mistake with the first one and wanted to fix it and then made another one... still trying to figure out the html!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, my original comment:
Thanks for your comment on my blog! I usually save my dressing up for the weekends because weekdays are for school. Definitely wouldn't mind the change, though: your top looks so soft and lush!
