I'm sure many a fashionista is mourning the death of the late Yves Saint Laurent, a pioneer of fashion during the twentieth century. You can read about some of his fashion innovations, his lifelong struggle with depression, and the sense of alienation from the fashion industry that finally forced him to retire in 2002 in today's Globe and Mail here.
