While attending the media preview for Oliver and Lilly's last week (now located at W. 6th and Fir!), I couldn't resist snapping up this Chinti and Parker skirt. There are so many things to love about it: the flattering shape; the elastic waist (so comfy); the hidden pockets; the little scattered sparkles which, upon further inspection, are stitched-in dots of mirrored thread. I wore this skirt pretty much all weekend and got quite a few compliments, mostly about how it looked like a starry night sky. The navy twill feels substantial, making this a true all-season skirt and a new closet favourite.
And speaking of new closet favourites, I can't seem to stop wearing this charm bracelet from Birks. The links are chunky enough to have visual impact without feeling obtrusive when I'm working at a computer all day long. Arm parties are best left to girls who don't have to type.
This is such a cute outfit!
ReplyDeleteI love how you added the J crew belt and the clutch just brings the whole outfit together!
Love it!

Thanks, Serena!
DeleteGreat look Lisa! Loving the booties! Are they new from this season? I've been eyeing them! Love that you matched your belt to them! Gorgeous!

Thanks, Annick! These booties are from last year (bought them on super sale during my last trip to Seattle). The style used to be called Legacy or Zipcode, but now it's called Winston. I ordered the black Winston booties this season and they're exactly the same as the cognac ones above.
DeleteIs this the skirt you were talking about on Instagram (that made you hold back at the Joe Fresh event)? What a great find! It looks great on you-and I love that it works so well with the chambray but could be dressed up easily as well.
ReplyDeleteHaha yes, this is the skirt!
